The Operation Divisions of the Skagit County Public Works Department maintains approximately eight hundred and one (801) miles of County roads. It will not be possible to keep all County roads plowed and/or maintained during a snow event. Whether or not a particular depicted County road(s) is and/or is not highlighted on the map, such County roads may and/or may not be plowed and/or maintained in any given instance. Once County roads assumed to be a higher priority may have been (and/or may not have been) maintained, the Operations Division generally may then maintain other County roads, including local access and dead-end roads. County roads in areas with larger amounts of snow fall may be maintained more often and/or before other County roads, regardless of any assumed priority of such roads.<\/p>
