Service Description: Current use layer tracks properties that are enrolled in the State Current Use and Designated Forest lands tax deferral program. This program is managed by the Skagit County Assessors office and records the official documents placing the property into the program and the agreement with the landowner to meet the requirements of keeping the property in the designation. In some cases a portion of a property is entered into the agreement and this GIS layer specifies the portions of the property in each type of designation.
