This data set includes the Skagit County Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map delineation and attributes, adopted by Skagit County Ordinance No. 17938 on July 24, 2000, or as thereafter amended. Its purpose is to provide County/City decision makers, the State Growth Management Hearings Board, and the public a view of the Comprehensive Plan boundaries in relation to County geographic features. Comprehensive Plan Map amendments may be initiated by the County, or by other entities, organizations, or individuals through petitions. Adjusted to fit parcels. Updates are done when amendments are approved. Page 20 The boundaries separating land use designations are intended to be long-term and unchanging.
