Layers: Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;font-size:12pt"><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;"><SPAN>Layer Title:</SPAN></SPAN><SPAN> NPDES Permit Area</SPAN></P><P /><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;"><SPAN>Abstract:</SPAN></SPAN><SPAN> Skagit County is the holder of a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II permit for the management of municipal surface water runoff and protection of regional water quality. This permit is a requirement under the Federal Clean Water Act that Washington Department of Ecology administers. Generally, the NPDES permit area represents Census defined Urbanized Areas and Skagit County Urban Growth Areas. The Skagit County NPDES permit area represents the current approved boundary by the Department of Ecology. Anything within the boundary is considered to be in the NPDES Permit </SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN>area.</SPAN></P><P /><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;"><SPAN>Update Cycle:</SPAN></SPAN><SPAN> As-Needed. Updates occur when permit requirements change.</SPAN></P><P /><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;"><SPAN>Accuracy:</SPAN></SPAN><SPAN><SPAN> Adjusted to fit parcels.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P /><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;"><SPAN>Layer Compatibility:</SPAN></SPAN><SPAN><SPAN> This layer is a parcel based layer and is intended to overlay other parcel based layers.
